"The Arab League, formally the League of Arab States, is a regional organization of Arab states in and around North Africa, the Horn of Africa and Arabia. It was formed in Cairo on 22 March 1945 with six members: Kingdom of Egypt, Kingdom of Iraq, Transjordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Syria."

Hello!

​

It is my distinct pleasure and honor to come forward as the Deputy Secretary General of the second edition of CIMUN. My name is Lamiae Hadad and I am a seventeen year-old senior at Carlsbad International School.

​

I started attending Model United Nations conferences as a sophomore in  High School in my home country Morocco, and needless to say that I was completely oblivious of the incredible ride I was going to embark on. Throughout my high school years, I have marked my participation in over 5 conferences, both Internationally and in Morocco, stepping into the shoes of various United Nations representatives and team members.

​

During this journey, I got the chance to be both a chair once and a delegate in various committees ranging from the Security Council and the Human Rights Committee to the Economic and Social committees, collecting a fair amount of experience along the way, I will now serve as the Deputy Secretary General.

I look forward to welcome you all in March.

My Name is Ana Paula Ochoa, I am 18 years old and I'm from Cancun, Mexico.  I´m currently in 12th grade in Carlsbad International School. Last year, I was a volunteer in the CIMUN conference, and this year I'm very excited to take part in CIMUN as  one of the co-chairs for the Arab league and I'´m also in charge of the philanthropy side of the conference.. This is will be my first full MUN conference experience, and I couldn't be more excited.  CIMUN is really important to our school and we hope all of you have fun and enjoy every part of it.
